(CALGARY, AB) – Another wild ride was had by all at the Wildhorse Saloon Stampede tent on Friday night – the 15,000-square-foot temporary hotspot at the corner of 6 Ave. and 4 St. S.W., and the largest of its kind in downtown Calgary.
While the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth wouldn’t be complete without the presence of a massive party tent that swings open its doors for 1o magical days in July, it wouldn’t be Stampede without cowboys, booze, bands, beer tub girls and an A-list celebrity like Vince Vaughn making an appearance at the Wildhorse Saloon.
Vaughn and his Okotoks-born wife Kyla Weber went public this week with the news that they’re expecting their first child. Their pending state of parenthood didn’t stop the pair from strapping on their cowboy boots and sneaking into the Wildhorse relatively undetected on Friday night shortly after 11 p.m., however, along with a handful of Vaughn’s closest pals – actor Peter Billingsley (A Christmas Story, The Break-Up), and Stanley Cup-winning hockey star Kris Versteeg from the Chicago Blackhawks among them.
A most memorable Friday night indeed in the Wildhorse Saloon Stampede tent!
